I started getting some weird phone messages and text messages a while back, all about me applying for credit. I am thrilled to say that I have been debt-free for 2 years, and have NOT applied for credit anywhere! I have no clue what shit-bag website might have sold my information, but I was worried that these inquiries were going to hurt my perfect credit score. So, I decided to use FreeCreditReport.com to see my credit score.

Luckily, my credit had not been hurt. However, a month later, while reconciling my credit card statement, I saw a charge of $14.95 from CIC TripleAdvantage. I had no clue what this was, so I did some research, and low and behold it is a SCAM being run by FreeCreditReport.com… and they get away with it because they are owned by Experian! Unbelievable! These shucksters should be locked up…

I was able to cancel the service, and they said I would get a refund. I am one of the lucky ones that realized it early on. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY FREECREDITREPORT.COM!!!!!
