Custom Build - WebLinc PreCommerce CMS (ColdFusion)
Dietz & Watson did not want to sell online, as to not upset their distributors. Instead they wanted to showcase all about the food, provide all information, links to recipes and special segments by their spokepeople (Momma Dietz, Chef Straib, Emma J. Fogt, and others). We created a custom CMS that allowed their team to easily manage this information.
Some interesting points about this project:
- We heavily modified WebLinc's B2C ColdFusion Ecommerce Platform to be more of a specialized CMS that tailored to their particular needs.
- I got to be in a meeting with Momma Dietz! 😄
- My favorite part of this project is a little easter egg the production department put in. If you hovered over Momma Dietz in the top right, you will see her signature eyebrow raise! Unfortunately this does not seem to be there on the Wayback Url.
