My friend Michael Miller (guitarist in Karma Canon) has been doing some art work for a Korean Company called Olleh. I liked the concept and wanted to post some of his work on the project so far. He is going to be in Korea for a month working on it, so Karma Canon is on another extended hiatus… bad for rock, good for Michael!

Awesome stop-motion animation with post-it notes. Below the actual video is the “making of” which is also awesome!

I celebrated my birthday at National Mechanics a couple of weeks ago, and my friend Kate made me a MEATCAKE!!! The exclamation marks are necessary, because it should be screamed, not said.

The MEATCAKE!!! consisted of 2 meatloaf-ish areas filled with 3 whole cheddardogs cooked within, and bits of cheddardog interspliced. These 2 areas were joined with a mashed potato and bacon filling. Next, mashed potatoes were applied like a frosting, and bacon & cheddar bits sprinkled the top. The best part was that it tasted heavenly!

Thanks again Kate!!! The MEATCAKE!!!…

Rabbat? WTF is this thing? Did Avery draw this… does he have crazy mad hidden design skillage? Anyway, go here and vote for Avery’s design…

Interesting article about the music, life & times of Charles Manson. For those of you who have never heard Charlie’s music, you really should - it’s really quite good, in an eerie cult leader sort of a way. I’m not drinking the Kool-Aide (or carving out the fetus) in any way… just saying the guy made some pretty sweet music. Too bad he’s a sociopath… it makes me feel bad for liking his stuff (a lot).

I have seen bits of this before, but never strung together like this, and I have never seen all these outside shots. This must have taken a very, very long time to do…
