This awesome website will show you various points of interest around Medellín, Colombia. I have actually been to all of these places except the Biblioteca España and the Metro Cable - and I will probably never go to either one due to my fear of heights! Anyway, enjoy the website!!!

This summer, my sister-in-law Luz Stella and her boyfriend Juan took my wife Adriana and me on a tour of Antioquia in Colombia. One of the places we went was to Guatape, home to “Piedra del Peñol”, a giant rock formation that sits on top of a mountain surrounded by man-made lakes (it’s a reservoir). It is really an amazing sight to behold!

Recently my wife found a 720 degree view of this natural wonder online. I have posted that as well as some other links to info about it below.

BOGOTA, Colombia — A plane carrying 59 people skidded off a wet runway and into the Caribbean Sea in Colombia, causing minor injuries to seven, aviation officials said.

The Brazilian-made Embraer 190 plane operated by operated by Aero Republica was carrying 54 passengers and five crew members from Cali to Santa Marta, a tourist destination on Colombia’s north coast.
